Hi All, I'm raving about the fact the user voldimort is banned! Now, so I won't confuse him with lord voldimort, he used to go by kennyneranjo. This guy was such a jurk! The proof is in his posts. He didn't respect me what so ever! Even if he was back, he'd be on my ignore list for sure! He's banned, and that's better!

Post 2 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Monday, 26-Nov-2007 16:19:25

never knew him katy, but i'm sure you are right.... only thing i ever knew about him, he got another zonde user to hack someone's acount, just so they could be banned

Post 3 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Monday, 26-Nov-2007 16:19:43

Post 7 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Monday, 17-Dec-2007 9:02:18

Same here. I thought he was cool. He's on my MSN list though not many people get on there, lol and he hasn't spoken to me recently, lol.

Jen.

Post 8 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Monday, 17-Dec-2007 14:22:10

I have never been given any reason to dislike him.

Post 9 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Monday, 17-Dec-2007 15:12:42

I liked him too.

Post 10 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Monday, 17-Dec-2007 17:36:30

I have no reason to dislike him either.

Post 11 by chelslicious (like it or not, I'm gonna say what I mean. all the time.) on Monday, 17-Dec-2007 18:02:20

just one simple question, kaitie: you wouldn't like it if the tables were turned, would you? if you got banned for something and people made board posts about it, you wouldn't like it, so treat others the way you wanna be treated...and, grow up while you're at it.

Post 12 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Tuesday, 18-Dec-2007 3:53:55

Hahaha, well said.

Post 13 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Tuesday, 18-Dec-2007 6:46:25

Speaking from personal experience, be really careful what you say on the boards. Your words never die, they just sit there and mock you.
Some day Becky will really regret all those nasty things she said about sweet little me.

I really hate board topics that belittle another zoner. It shows more immaturity in the topic poster than it does the zoner flamed. In this case, he's gone, so what have you accomplished, except to show your own immaturity.

Besides, he might come back, you two might hook up, and ... . who knows.

Bob

Chelsea, Have I told you recently, just how awesome you are?
And what I don't get, is that she's glad because she doesn't have to get confused between him and another user of a similar name? Whoa

Post 15 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Tuesday, 18-Dec-2007 19:17:26

ah, tom rocks, you should speak your mind more often.

and chelsea is right, grow up.

I liked nimer, he was cool on zbp.

Post 16 by forereel (Just posting.) on Wednesday, 19-Dec-2007 0:01:56

I agree with Bob he could become your BF then what? *smile*

Post 17 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Wednesday, 19-Dec-2007 2:42:56

chelsea and tom i'm officially in love with you both. lol jk i just totally agree with you.
i liked that guy he was cool and talking with him he sounded like an intelligent person. he could talk about alot more than just complaining about everything and everyone like someone else does... not saying names
and as for the bf/gf thing, well, it sounded to me as if that guy had good highgeen skills...

Post 18 by PorkInCider (Wind assisted.) on Wednesday, 19-Dec-2007 5:44:27

The kids had that many identities on here, I'd be surprised if even he's able to know who he is, let alone like himself. If only people like that could respect the administrators, and just go away when banned, we'd be much better off.

Post 19 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Wednesday, 19-Dec-2007 8:28:29

you mean that guy was someone who was banned before? he didn't make me think of anyone i already know

Post 20 by PorkInCider (Wind assisted.) on Wednesday, 19-Dec-2007 8:35:02

Lory, he had quite a number of I'd's on the site, and we know because he is known by a number of people locally in the US, who were able to identify it as the same person.

Post 21 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Wednesday, 19-Dec-2007 23:24:59

In any case, I agree with poster 11.
Not trying to be mean but it's the truth.

Post 22 by Dubstep1984 (I just keep on posting!) on Thursday, 27-Dec-2007 11:17:08

personally, i don't think somebody should get banned unless they do something extremely bad. like threatening to kill another user or hack into other peoples bank accounts to steel money and things like that. there was this one user on here, i am not mentioning names, who just got banned because he/she was calling other people things that i am not willing to repeat because they were so nasty. this person would claim to be of a certain religion, and people kept saying that he/she was not that religion because true people of that religion would never flame people or use horrible hurtful words. needless to say, he/she finally got banned because a certain cl could not put up with him/her anymore. he/she kept asking to get banned as well. he/she got banned 2 other times before this.

Post 23 by ka3m (Account disabled) on Thursday, 03-Jan-2008 5:16:54

I must be missing something here. If someone openly asks to get band and behaves erratically till this is accomplished, that's bad because why? Someone also mentioned about talking against someone else when they're not here, I think for others the whole point is that they can't respond and it's clearly a good time to get in to some chicken shit things. Like telling bout someone's personal business and what all. I know that there's no way that is right, but of course if it's on the boards at the very least, one might interpret that it makes for good reading. That could be why anyone would completely dedicate a topic towards them. Also it seems to me if the person being addressed is still sneaking on and it's clear and obvious to whom may be concerned, I'd have to assume then they're not missing out what's being said. So your voicetriss cheers and victorious cries might be fruitless. With that said I would hate to be the stopper of one's victory for another demise, so carry on.

Post 24 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Thursday, 03-Jan-2008 13:06:58

Okay I wasn't gonna post anymore on this but I must:
By talking about this person, we give this person power. So, let's fight the power.

Post 25 by CrazyCapricorn (I lost my conscience! Anyone seen it?) on Sunday, 16-Jan-2011 15:36:19

Well, personally, there are people I like and dislike on here, but I agree with everyone else who has posted on here, posting about someone being banned the way you did makes you just, if not more immature than the person you post about...and I forgot what else I was gonna say, so yeah...:d

Post 26 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Sunday, 16-Jan-2011 22:33:54

Why the hell did you bring a 4-year-old topic back up to the top? I will never understand why people do this.

Post 27 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Monday, 17-Jan-2011 11:27:41

These last few posts are very ironic, if you ask me.

Someone says posting about someone getting banned is showing your immaturity, however, you were the one who brought this back, and posting to ask why someone would bring this topic back is also kind of ironic, because you're contributing to it's perpetual existence. having said that, I agree with both of you, but it's still ironic.

Post 28 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Monday, 17-Jan-2011 13:58:11

I knew that posting my question was sort of dumb because it did just bump this topic back up to the top, just as these comments will do. But I just had to ask. I understand a new user being curious and wanting to go back and look at really old topics, but when the topic is no longer relevant, why not just read it and move on rather than post a comment.

Post 29 by musicgirl (Veteran Zoner) on Tuesday, 18-Jan-2011 0:25:28

Sorry but I have a question. I just decided to post it here because of the topic of someone being banned. If someone hasn't been on in a long time and their account is disabled, does that mean they were banned? Pardon my ignorance, but I was just wondering.

Post 30 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Tuesday, 18-Jan-2011 13:11:38

No, I don't think so. if their account is disabled, it means they've done something worthy of being banned. People have suggested being able to delete your own account if you don't plan on logging in anymore, but the conclusion always seems to be just empty out your profile, delete any audio profile, and just log out.

Post 31 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Tuesday, 18-Jan-2011 21:43:40

I think that if it says someone's account has been disabled, that basically means they were banned from ever coming back on the site.

Post 32 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Wednesday, 19-Jan-2011 14:30:40

Then why doesn't it get removed instead of just disabled? How odd.

Post 33 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Wednesday, 19-Jan-2011 15:25:18

It has something to do with the user ID numbers is what I've been told.

Post 34 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Thursday, 20-Jan-2011 14:35:03

hmmm I guess they would be knocked all out of wack if the accounts were deleted.

Post 35 by LeoGuardian (You mean there is something outside of this room with my computer in it?) on Friday, 21-Jan-2011 16:50:57

Unless the database were to contain an empty record, such that the ID still existed pointing to a record of nothing.
This will become an issue as Facebook, Twitter and other sites become challenged by international privacy rights advocacy groups.
Even now, Facebook has a hidden link to allow permanent deletion of an account, though I'm not sure how much server data gets dumped. So when my wife wanted to dump hers, I ensured she fill in all her data with erroneous data and delete her wall posts.
The only reason this hasn't become a public safety issue with this particular site is first, there is no evidence the site uses user data to facilitate advertising, and second, the community is so small that basically nobody knows about it. I found it by accident.
This is something all online communities are going to have to contend with sooner or later.

Post 36 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Monday, 24-Jan-2011 15:37:40

I don't think it is much of an issue unless the data becomes corupted in some way.
